The competition’s playing conditions decide the sporting procedure. The bookmaker specifies the conditions under which its market stands, is void or is recalculated.
What to record after a reduction
Keep the revised target, available overs, innings and official status when those are verified. Do not infer a revised target from a raw runs-per-over calculation.
Read individual market terms
A match-winner market, player run total and over market may have different completion requirements. A match continuing does not prove that every earlier market remains valid.
A useful source hierarchy
Use the organizer’s playing conditions and official score for sporting facts. Use the operator’s accepted terms for settlement. A general weather forecast cannot establish either result.
